INGREDIENTS

  • 4 medium artichokes
  • 1 lemon
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsn honey
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • Nuvo's Expert Blend
  • Salt
  • Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut one centimeter off the top of artichokes then cut each artichoke in half vertically. Using scissors, trim the pointy ends and leaves off. Carefully cut out the fuzzy choke in the center and discard. Rub artichoke with lemon.

Place a steaming rack over a large pot filled with water. Steam artichokes until tender, about 30 minutes. Set aside and cool for about 15 minutes.

Preheat a grill to medium-high heat. Take artichokes and brush with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Grill cut-side down for about 4-5 minutes until nicely charred.

For Sauce

Mix mayo, honey, chili sauce, a pinch of salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper.

Serve with dipping sauce.
